The machine is still relatively light and compact, but also features an MK 3 Morse taper chuck and a mechanical 2-speed gearbox. This significantly expands the machine's range of applications.

The main advantage is the electronic speed control and the right-left rotation of the spindle. This makes the machine suitable for thread cutting applications even without the use of an expensive reverse thread cutting head.
